What I’m working toward now is a dream, so please read it as one. Part two used space travel to picture how far a person can go in one life, and since I’m a science nerd at heart, I took the picture one step further. Nothing gets from the ground to the stars without a place to launch from, so I call the place I dream about a space port.
I picture a group of people living and working in the same place who want to remember who they really are, the thing Part two says we forget, and to give that back to the world while they keep growing. A big part of the dream is working together to create new technologies, culture and projects, and new ways to make our world a better place. Everything in Part three would happen there every day as ordinary life. The place would be built around the people who live there. They would come because this has become what they want to do with their life, and some would stay for years while others moved on when life took them elsewhere.
It doesn’t exist yet. What exists today is smaller: we, the students of Genadiy, practice together in two centers, one in Riga, Latvia, and one in Sochi, Russia, with over 120 people between them. The space port is the next step I hope we get to take, and I’d love to help build it.
